The Salobra Project – Meeting of the Waters offers a complete Pantanal nature experience, combining a riverside nature walk, a boat tour, and moments to relax and appreciate the region's breathtaking scenery.

The activity takes place in an area where rivers converge, creating unique landscapes and an ideal environment for observing the Pantanal's rich wildlife and native vegetation.

Activities Included

The Meeting of the Waters experience lasts approximately 4 hours and is available at two different times during the day.

During the tour, visitors will enjoy:

• Ride in a traditional Pantanal vehicle to the river dock

• Approximately 1 km guided walk through a flat, accessible riverside forest trail

• Swimming in a designated safe area of the river

• Boat tour along the rivers of the Pantanal

This experience provides an authentic connection with the Pantanal in a peaceful, well-preserved natural setting.
 

Schedule Options

Option 1 – Starts at 7:45 AM

• Welcome with freshly brewed coffee and traditional Paraguayan chipa

• Ride in a traditional Pantanal vehicle to the river dock

• Guided nature walk through the riverside forest

• River swimming

• Boat tour along the Pantanal rivers

• Return to the visitor center for lunch at the Casa da Família Pantaneira
   

Option 2 – Starts at 11:45 AM

• Arrival with lunch at the Casa da Família Pantaneira

• Ride in a traditional Pantanal vehicle to the river dock

• Guided nature walk through the riverside forest

• River swimming

• Boat tour along the region's rivers

• Return to the visitor center for homemade cake and freshly brewed coffee
